This fire alarm permit is to modify an existing fire sprinkler monitoring system to a required manual fire alarm system and interface it with a new voice evacuation panel. This work is required due to a change in occupancy (A3 with an occupant load of 1,363). Speaker strobes will be installed throughout the building as shown on the fire alarm plans and an automatic voice message will initiate upon building waterflow or other initiating devices. Building permit Bld07-02491 is to remodel 11,981 sq.ft. of area in an existing 32000 sq ft office building and convert area to a new church per approved plans and CUP07-00056. Work to include, construction of interior nonbearing partition, construction of new platform with accessible ramp, installation of new doors, miscellaneous related interior finishes. This building is fully fire sprinklered for area increase. Any alterations to the sprinkler system shall be per NFPA #13 as regulated by the fire department. RmH
