Revised FIR Scope of Work: 11/19/08 - These plans have been resubmitted for plan modification on the 1st and 2nd level. The Revision has been noted as Revision 4 and dated 10/20/08. The modification was limited to changing the pipe type from steal to CPVC. The contractor has submitted supporting hydraulic calculations. Revised FIR Scope of Work: The plans have been submitted for plan modification. The revision is noted as Delta 3, and dated 09/05/08. The modification consists of the relocation of the existing FDC and the fire pump test header to a new location on the East side of the bldg. Scope of Work: (The Jefferson Building Parking Garage, Grading, Drainage, Underground Utilities & Landscaping) - To construct a new 35,040 square feet, single story, shell only building, with a multi-level (4 teared) basement parking garage, below a three hour horizontal assembly per IBC Section 508.2. The first floor is 11,680 square feet, will be finished with three dwelling units, along with the entry lobby and accessory storage area for the dwelling units. The basements area is 23,360 square feet and will be used as a private parking garage. This building is required to be fire sprinklered with a NFPA 13 fire sprinkler system. Refer to BLD 06-01451 for the construction of the upper five floors, the competition of the interior of the dwelling units, the entry lobby, the parking garage and the accessory storage area. NOTE: This permit is for a shell only. The minimum ceiling height in vehicle and pedestrian areas is 7 feet. All construction per the approved plans and attached comment list. DRH05-00396 CUP05-00150 (7/24/07: Plan modification for structural slab and wall changes approved.)
Under this FIR permit, install a complete fire sprinkler system through out the underground parking levels P1 – P4 and the main levels L1 and L2. A dry pipe system will server through out the Parking levels and a combination Wet standpipe and supply riser will serve the rest of the structure under this permit. Each level will be controlled separately. The system supply will include a 750 gpm electric pump rated @ 100 psi. All fire sprinkler, fire pump and standpipe work shall comply with the IFC 2003, the attached review comments/conditions, as regulated by the Fire Chief.
The review comments/conditions, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code. The underground fire service supply was installed separately under FIR06-01450. This fire permit is attached to building permit: BLD06-01450 and FIR07-00932. This is a shell and core permit only. Separate tenant improvement permits are required to finish this building for occupancy.
