To extend an existing building fire alarm system by providing a/v notification appliances within the TI area; work also includes a new NAC panel and one smoke detector above the FAC panel and relocating some existing a/v circuits onto the new NAC panel.

The associated building permit is BLD 07-00052, EAGLES CENTER - 2ND STORY OFFICE SUITES 11-9-07 PLAN MODIFICATION TO REMOVE WALL AND CEILING FINISHES ON THE 2ND STORY TO EXPOSE THE EXISTING MASONRY WALLS AND THE FL00R JOISTS ABOVE. IN ADDITION, TO INSTALL "HOMOSOTE" SOUND BARRIER ON THE FLOOR OF THE 2ND STORY TO REDUCE THE TRANSFER OF NOISE TO THE 1ST STORY BELOW. Fire sprinklers substitute for 1-hr fire-resistance-rating of the structure. To remodel the 3,880 square foot 2nd story of an existing 4 story building to create 9 separate office suites to be individually leased to separate entities. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, interior windows, interior doors, and finishes. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department.
