Work Scope: OH / High Pressure System
(D. L. EVANS BRANCH BANK - SEDGWICK CENTER - 1ST STORY) (CZC08-00010) This building is fire sprinklered to comply with high-rise provisions. To construct a bank within an existing 4,590 square foot tenant space located on the 1st story of a high-rise building. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, interior doors, interior windows, a night deposit box, an ATM, suspended gypsum board ceiling, suspended acoustical ceilings, gypsum board soffits, millwork, an exterior window, an exterior metal window panel, and finishes. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department.
OH Scope: The Fire Sprinkler scope consists modifying the existing shell protection by adding 41 down heads to accommodate a new wall lay out. The fire sprinkler system work shall comply with the IFC 2006, the attached review comments/conditions, as regulated by the Fire Chief. The review comments/conditions, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code. This permit is attached to BLD07-00254.

The approved plans that were on site the last inspection have disapeared. I let the fire sprinkler contractor know where to get copies. I went over the previous deficiencies with him. No new inspection was performed.

See the city approved plans for rooms marked in red with "OK" that can have the piping covered. The rooms with out the "OK" either had defieciencies or did not have completed work and can not be covered. No sprinkler contractor was on site.
