Revised FIR Work Scope: 10/19/08
The contractor has submitted calculations and plans with modifications to include accurate plan revisions, notations and dates. The system design was modified during construction due to inaccurate original water flow information having been calculated. Among the modifications are pipe size and layout, new heads with a lower k-factor and a hard lid was added in the open area above the warehouse.
Revised FIR Work Scope: 09/29/08
The contractor has submitted plans with modifications to include pipe type changes to the mezzanine piping from steal to CPVC. The original head count has been changed to include additional heads. New total count is noted to be 163.
FIR Work Scope:
Beginning from an existing 6” supply flange located at the South end of the bldg. install a 4” wet riser and wet pipe system to serve through out the entire bldg. including the attic space. The system supply will be controlled from a wall post indicating valve. The system is designed to Ordinary Group II for shell protection of the Warehouse space and light hazard in the Office space.
The fire sprinkler system work shall comply with the IFC 2006, the attached review comments/conditions, as regulated by the Fire Chief. The review comments/conditions, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code. This permit is attached to BLD07-02372 & UG FITR08-00434.
