10/11/08 Revised FIR OH Scope:
The contractor has submitted an additional remote area calculation of the attic BB1 heads upon the request of the plan reviewer. The request was based on the changes to the dry pipe systems during construction. The contractor has also submitted a corrected version of the Head Legend for review. The revisions were noted on the plans as Rev 4 and dated 10/07/08.
10/06/08 Revised FIR OH Scope:
The contractor made changes to the original design during construction. As a result of these changes to the wet & dry pipe systems, a complete new plan and supporting hydraulic calculation summary analysis was required. The revisions were noted on the plans as Rev 3 and dated 09/25/08. 09/17/08 Revised FIR OH Scope: The contractor made modifications to the original design based on plan review comments. The modifications included adding heads in the bedrooms where over-spacing accrued. The plans were also modified to include a separate remote area calculation for the Kitchen Area. Eight additional heads were added as a result of the modifications noted on the plans as Revision #2, dated 09/05/08.
Conditions of Approval: Plan FP3. The head temperature rate in the Kitchen area is noted to be 155 degree. The appliances in the kitchen area are not noted on the plans. Spacing and temperature requirements are to be field verified and changed are to be made if necessary. .NFPA13 8.3.2
Note: The hydraulic placard for remote area 8 on sheet FP3 is incorrectly notated and does not correlate with the calculations submitted. However, the calculations do appear to be correct. Please make the necessary revisions on the as-built drawing and all other copies. In the future, please submit a required Hydraulic Cover Sheet for each are submitting.
08/19/08 Revised FIR OH Scope: The contractor made changes to the original design based on changes made in the field during construction. As a result of these changes to the wet & dry pipe systems, a complete new plan and supporting hydraulic calculation summary analysis is required. The revisions were not noted on the plans.
08/05/08 FIR OH Scope: Beginning from a 6” supply located with the 1 hour rated riser room located at the NE corner of the building, install a 4” vertical wet riser and a wet pipe system to serve through out the heated areas. A dry pipe system will serve the attic and canopy areas. The fire sprinkler system work shall comply with the IFC 2006, the attached review comments/conditions, as regulated by the Fire Chief. The review comments/conditions, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code. This permit is attached to BLD08-00698 & UG permit FIR08-00293.
