Description
The Fire Sprinkler Scope of work consists of adding new flexhead sprinklers, a new double interlock preaction system and new upright sprinklers for a new storage room in a new tenant improvement area.

(AMERICAN FIBER) (CZC08-00180) Fire sprinklers used for building area increase. To construct a 9,362 square foot tenant space (6,484 square feet finished and 2,878 square feet unfinished) within a 1 story building. This tenant space will be located in a portion of the building that has never been occupied before. The 2,878 square foot unfinished area will be completed under a future permit. Work is to include 2 restrooms accessible to the disabled, interior nonbearing walls, exterior storefront glazing in place of an existing knock out panel, an exterior overhead door in place of an existing knock out panel, double leaf exterior door to replace a single door, suspended acoustical ceilings, millwork, and finishes. The work is required to comply with the approved drawing, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department. **CJW**

The rough-in inspection passed. Another rough-in inspection will be needed when the pendants have actually been placed in the t-bar grid which has not been installed yet. There is a pipe size descrepancy at the base of the new pre-action riser that needs clarified prior to final.
