This fire alarm permit is to use the existing fire alarm panel, but replace all existing devices with new.
This permit scope includes a full manual system, notification devices, and HVAC shutdown.

EVENT CENTER) A fire sprinkler system is required to be installed throughout this building. To
convert an existing 13,087 square foot office building (12,437 square feet inside and 650 square feet
outside) to an event center. The basement has a total floor area of about 6,227 square feet and the 1st
story has a total floor area of about 6,860 square feet (6,210 square feet inside and 650 square feet
outside). The work is to include 4 restrooms accessible to the disabled, an interior bearing wall in the
basement with a new concrete footing, altered open web floor trusses to shorten their span, two glu-lam
roof beams, a tube steel column, and interior finishes. Special inspection is required for welding and for
the modifications to the open web floor trusses. The work is required to comply with the approved
drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. In conjunction with
this permit, this building is required to be fully fire sprinklered per NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire
