Description
The Fire Sprinkler Scope of work consists of protecting one new tenant in a multi tenant building. The building will be storing paper records in cardboard boxes up to 16' high with 8' aisles on open racks. The fire protection design is based on a class IV commodity. A new 6" C900 underground main will be ran approximately 265' into the building. A new 6" riser with back flow preventer will be installed. A new 6" main will ran to the new tenant space from the end of the building. The main will have sprinklers to protect the main. K-11.2 sprinklers are being utilized. A tree system will be provided with 4" cross-main and 2" lines. A portion of the system has above and below protection.

There is no associated building permit.

I finished the rough-in inspection in the previously locked tenant space. I started the above ground hydro test but Brian called me later and stated that he had lost pressure and we would need to reschedule.

The basic rough-in is passed. Branchline restraints are missing and there was no access to one tenant space to inspect the new main. No hydro test was performed today.
