Description
The Fire Sprinkler Scope of work consists of adding and relocating sprinklers to accommodate new wall and ceiling configuration. The existing system is a 6"x4"x2 ½" Grid designed for .495/2000 utilizing K=25.2 sprinklers. The new TI is predominantly light hazard except for a parking storage area, which is Ordinary Hazard Group I. The existing LO sprinklers are being used for the parking area. The remainder of the sprinklers are being changed to QR K=5.6 and K=11.2 (18'x18' spacing). The existing structure is steel bar joist. A new full height-demising wall is being added. The new wall required additional sprinklers due to spacing on the side opposite of the TI.

Vic Park Bldg 3: (Vanilla finish) Permit for minor tenant improvements to create a 6,012 sq. ft. tenant space in a 32,942 sq. ft. shell building with work to include the infill of on overhead door and man door, removal of two knock out panels (one for a overhead door and one for a man door), the construction of a 8" fuly grouted reinforced CMU tenant demizing wall to the roof deck and the construction of a truck ramp. This is a fully sprinklered building; any alterations to the sprinkler system will require a separate permit and shall comply with NFPA13 as regulated by Boise City Fire Department. All work to be done per the approved plans, plan review report, CZC09-00181 and any notations. The shell building was constructed under BLD07-00737. CDM

Sprinkler piping is ok to cover. I noted that atleast two pendant heads in the small rooms are blocked by the surface mounted lights. Mike and Sam are going to provide longer 401 canopies to spray below the lights. I will check these on final.
