Forward flush of the backflow needs to be performed, certification of the backflow, service tag on the riser, head box verified.....ect. The interconnection with the fire alarm panel tested ok. I spoke to Doug, the superintendant, and with Tom the building inspector about the need for the one hour riser room. Their are holes in the wall and gaps around all of the exiting piping.

Plans need to be resubmitted showing the pipe routing changes and pipe size changes. These changes include the near main being relocated roughly 18' to the south and 3" riser nipples at all branchline/main connection points on both the near and far mains. The sprig ups are marked on the plans to be 1 1/4" but 1 1/2" have been installed. Insulation is laying on the upright sprinkler heads in several locations in the warehouse area. Two office areas near the riser room will have a combustible concealed space above the ceilings but Doug is going to cover with sheet rock. I gave the ok to cover some of the piping in the office area. See the approved plans for exact area.
