This fire alarm permit is to replace the existing fire alarm panel with new to accommodate an elevator upgrade (all elevators). The building will be upgraded to accommodate current visual notification requirements due to the FACP replacement. Devices for elevator recall functions shall be new and addressable, other existing devices to remain as circuited, with the existing zones being re-landed on the new FACP. This fire alarm control panel is addressable and conventional. HVAC functions have not been shown on the plans. There is no associated building permit.

NOTE TO INSPECTOR: An early start agreement has been approved for this project. The existing initiating devices are to remain as-is unless those devices are replaced and/or relocated; in which case the devices shall then be required to meet current code mounting and spacing requirements.
