Description
The Fire Sprinkler Scope of work consists of relocating and adding sprinklers to accommodate new wall and ceiling configuration. There are sprinklers above and below the ceiling.

(Quality Thermistor, Inc) (1-4-10 plan modification to alter an existing shear wall. Work includes hold-downs attached to the concrete floor using epoxy anchors. Special inspection required for epoxy anchor installation.) This building is fully fire sprinklered for building area increase. This building was originally constructed in Ada County and later annexed into the City of Boise. To remodel a 4,770 square foot area within an existing 14,668 square foot building. Work is to include a common single user restroom accessible to the disabled, a private toilet/shower room, interior nonbearing walls, interior doors, interior windows, a 2-hr fire-resistance-rated vault, suspended ceilings, millwork, and finishes. Work also includes a new concrete footing, a tube steel column, and a new post cap to support an existing beam at a new location. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department. **CJW**

The sprinkler piping can be covered. I noted that two of the new extended coverage pendants at the Lobby are less than 8' apart. The solution will be verified at the final inspection. The riser also has a current inspection tag.
