PLAN MODIFICATION: 2/10/10 - Plan modification to replace existing notification devices with new to resolve synchronization issues. This plan modification is approved provided the replaced device locations are not modified, circuiting is not changed, and that the existing locations meet current NFPA 72 mounting and spacing requirements. Original review comments dated 2/4/10 still apply. There are no new written review comments. 2/4/10 -This fire alarm permit is to extend the existing fire alarm system into the addition of an assisted living facility. This permit scope includes the addition of smoke detectors, relocation of an existing pull station, and the addition of notification devices. A new remote power supply is being provided to accommodate the new notification devices.

Associated building permit: BLD09-01717 This project is for a 1658s.f. 4-bedroom addition to an existing 3694s.f. 1-story 5-bedroom single family dwelling that is to be used as a residential care / assisted living facility and will meet requirements as defined for Group R-3 per Boise City Policy 3-20-2008. R-1A setbacks ok per Andrea Tuning. Separate electrical, plumbing, and mechanical and ESC permits are required. All per the approved plans as marked REScheck and the plan review notes. Pep

Permit finaled. Sync modules were installed and setup while I waited. I let Tom know that I would need as-builts showing the addition of the sync modules.

Change the text as discussed on the facp display to include the smoke detectors in the new bedrooms, provide sync on the horn as per nfpa 72 a6.8.6.5.3, battery and NAC circuits did not report a trouble at the facp from the NAC panel.
