3-15-10:
This fire alarm permit is to extend the existing fire alarm system into the new tenant space. This permit scope includes notification (voice evacuation), a new remote power supply to accommodate the visuals, and a smoke detector (non-required above the remote power supply). All new speakers are tapped at ¼ watt.

Associated building permit: BLD10-00338 (BMC SELECT - Washington Group Plaza - Ste# 200) Permit is to remodel an existing 25,348 square foot tenant space to accommodate the tenant's needs. Approval contingent upon adhering to the approved plans on file and obtaining the necessary Fire Alarm and Fire Sprinkler permits. Work to include: demolition of multiple enclosed offices to create more open office area, construction of interior non-bearing walls to create four new enclosed offices, installation of new accessible door hardware, installation of new doors and sidelights, and finishes in compliance with chapter 8 of the 2006 IBC. This building is fully fire sprinklered any alterations or modifications to the sprinkler system WILL REQUIRE A SEPARATE PERMIT and shall be installed per NFPA #13 as regulated by the fire department. Racking that exceeds 8 ft. in height requires a separate Building Permit be submitted and approved before installation. **TLW**
