Description	6-2-10: PLAN MODIFICATION This plan modification is to provide additional in-duct detectors instead of open area detection, therefore all fire/smoke dampers will be shut down using in-duct detectors. This plan modification also includes incorporating previous redlines and review comments from the review dated 5/14/10. 5-14-10: This fire alarm permit is to replace the existing fire alarm panel and all components. This includes bringing the entire building up to meet current IFC and NFPA requirements. A manual system with full voice evacuation for notification, duct detectors for HVAC shutdown, elevator recall, and sprinkler system monitoring. There are also areas where smoke detectors are used in lieu of in-duct detectors to shut down fire/smoke dampers, but some of the dampers are shut down using in-duct detectors due to existing motor controls that are being left alone. There is no associated building permit.
