This fire alarm permit is to add/relocate/replace notification and initiating devices to accommodate a tenant improvement. A new remote power supply is being provided to replace an existing remote power supply, and a secondary fire alarm panel is being removed. The existing main Fire Alarm Control Unit is to remain.

Associated building permit: BLD10-00095 (ITT Educational Services INC.) Permit for tenant improvements to an existing 30,768 sq. ft. building with work to include the removal of some interior non-bearing partition walls, removal of two single user restrooms (not required per occupant load), installation of a folding partition (per attached engineering)to create additional open office area and a staff lounge. The wall between the existing student lounge areas will also be removed. The existing 1hour corridor is being downgraded as part of this permit. Per FIR05-00223 the building is equipped throughout with quick response sprinkler heads. This building is fully sprinklered for area increase: any alterations to the existing sprinkler system will require a separate permit and shall comply with NFPA13 as regulated by the City of Boise Fire Department.
