All devices were tested but the duct detectors have been wired to a single zone instead of the three individual zones per the approved plans. I waited on site while the alarm installer tried to get things changed but when we tested the duct on zone 6 the hvac unit did not shut down. The inspection was stopped. All duct smoke detectors will need to be retested to verify shutdown and correct zone labeling/monitoring and a signal report will need to be provided. A map at the FACP is required as well.
