1/14/11: PLAN MODIFICATION (10 initiating devices affected): This plan modification is to show field modifications to some notification device placement, provide in-duct detectors to f/s dampers not originally known to be a part of the project, and to eliminate some of the duct detectors not needed due to common returns.
8/20/10:
This fire alarm permit is to provide notification and initiating devices to accommodate a tenant improvement. Devices include all new horn/strobes (any existing notification devices are to be removed), pull stations, HVAC monitoring, and in-duct detectors for new F/S dampers. The notification devices are to be connected to new remote power supplies. The initiating devices are to be connected to the existing fire alarm signal line circuit. This building does not require the full manual system (only sprinkler monitoring, elevator recall, and HVAC), however it was requested by the customer.
NOTE TO INSPECTOR: The fire sprinkler permit (FIR10-00125) is attached to the demo building permit (BLD09-02080).
Associated building permit: BLD10-00044 (ST. LUKE'S - REFERENCE LABORATORY) To remodel an existing two story 31,625 sq. ft. building into a medical laboratory per approved plans. Demolition work is under separate permit, BLD09-02080. Work to include construction of interior walls in conjunction with remaining existing walls to create office, work, laboratory and support areas; conference / training room on second floor with existing offices; upgrade restrooms, showers, drinking fountains, doors, door hardware and clear floor spaces & latch side clearance at all doors; work on electrical, mechanical, plumbing, sprinkler, alarm and security systems to comply with current adopted codes and ordinances. Separate applications and permits required for sprinkler & alarm system modifications as regulated by the fire department, before being worked on. NOTE: This building is fully fire sprinklered with all heads being changed to quick response to allow non-rated corridors. Drs
