Todays test included testing of the flow switch, PIV and EOL voltage for the audio/visual devices in the new tenant space. Supervision of the new NAC panel by the new FACP was verified as well. Still need the duct smoke detector locations addressed/tested, correct descriptions at teh new remote annunciator and the correct documentation as per telephone conversations with the plan reviewer.

Inspection was cancelled due to tenant complaints per Jeff's direction. I went ahead and verified locations of the audio/visuals. Everything was located ok except one 115cd ceiling mount will need to be increased to 135cd to provide adequate coverage to the "welding curtain" walls. These walls were not shown on the city approved plans. I also noted that the two new duct smoke detectors were not located per code. I discussed possible solutions with the on site fire alarm tech and the tenants designer. No actual testing of devices including the end of line voltage drops were done.

Many of the strobes are overspaced. Visual coverage is required in the Janitors closet since it is now a part of the common area due to the door not being installed. The PIV valve label at the remote annunciator needs to be labeled correctly. It is currently labeled "anti-freeze". The notification circuit was not activated for testing due to the outstanding issues. A drawing plan modification will be required to be submitted for approval if additional devices are added or candella modified.
