Description
This quick permit is to add ten strobes to go in each of ten new focus rooms. These devices are to be tied in to existing notification circuits. Approval is subject to field measurement of the EOL voltage drop. For appliances with an operating voltage range of 16V – 33V, the minimum acceptable voltage is 19.6V with the AC power off. Any measurement below this voltage will be considered insufficient to run the NACs at the end of useful battery life of 20.4V. UL 864, Standard for Control Units for Fire Signaling Systems. The installing contractor shall have available at final inspection a voltage meter and measure end of line voltages; witnessed by the field inspector. There are no written review comments. Associated building permit: BLD10-02388 (HEWLETT PACKARD BLDG 1 - 1ST & 2ND FLOOR) This building is fully sprinklered for unlimited allowable area increase. Remodel of 528 sq. ft. consisting of four existing staff support areas on the first level, each less than 250 sq. ft., dividing one room into two smaller rooms, a new total of five rooms to be used as Small Conference & Focus rooms for specific staff work areas; remodel of 603 sq. ft. consisting of six existing staff support areas of less than 250 sq. ft. each, on the second level, dividing one room to become two rooms for a new total of seven rooms for use as Small Conference & Focus rooms as specific staff work areas. Work includes select interior demolition, construction of non-combustible frame walls, drywall cover, suspended ceiling grid modification, interior finishes, millwork, electrical, mechanical, sprinkler and alarm systems modifications, all per reviewed plans to include notes on plans and all attached plan review conditions and comments for all reviewing agencies. This scope of wotk will not increase building area, change occupancy use group(s) or increase the occupant load for this building. Separate applications, plans and permits are required before any work can begin on the sprinkler or alarm systems, as regulated by the fire department. drs.
