I went ahead and tested the horn/strobe and the smoke detectors for the door release. The devices functioned correctly and the signals received at the central station. The smoke detectors have been centered at the doors. What is not complete are the plans. Per the original correction notice plans needed to be re-submitted or as-builts provided showing the 30cd strobe. The fire alarm vendor chose to re-submit for a plan modification. The problem is the plan modifications show a 110cd strobe where the 30cd has been installed. Also the room size is incorrect and the actual location of the work is in the south end of the building not as shown in the north end of the building. As discussed an accurate as-built package needs to be provided prior to a final sign off.

The smoke detectors for door release shall be centered on the doorway. Also plans will either need to be resubmitted showing the 30cd strobe or as-builts with verification of EOL voltage drop.
