Adding sprinklers below a new suspended ceiling. Existing sprinklers are to remain as is without changes.

(FORK - LUMSDEN RESTAURANTS - 1ST STORY - EAST END) The fire sprinkler system substitutes for the 1-hr fire-resistance-rating of the building structure. To remodel an existing 3,756 square foot bar for a new bar/restaurant tenant. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, a suspended ceiling within the kitchen, a new bar counter, a new grease hood over a new rotisserie oven, millwork (including wood covers for existing floor mounted HVAC units), and finishes. A new exterior ramp accessible to the disabled will be constructed under a separate permit and is required to be completed before occupancy by this tenant. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department. **CJW**
