Description |
The Fire Sprinkler Scope of work consists of new tenant in a previously occupied location creating a change of occupancy. The existing 3”x2”x1¼” grid will be modified with mechanical tees to supply sprinklers to a new mercantile and office area. Per the supplied Owner’s Certificate there will be NO storage greater than 12’. The project is NOT approved for any storage over 12’ and has only been reviewed for Ordinary Hazard Group II. The previously approved 20’ Class III commodity would require new hydraulic calculation based upon the new flow test information. However, this is not necessary based on the use that is listed in the Owner’s Certificate.
The prior tenant was apparently a wood working shop (F1), Offices/Retail Space (B), Storage (S1)

Building Department Scope:
Permit for tenant improvements to an existing 10,000 sq. ft. tenant space with work to include the removal of all of the interior non-bearing partition walls with the exception of the bathroom walls, the construction of new interior partition walls, reconfiguration of the HVAC ducting, new lighting and suspended ceiling, drinking fountains, service sink and the construction of a new exterior concrete ramp with rails per the approved plans, plan review report and any notations. This is a fully sprinklered building; any alterations to the sprinkler system will require a separate permit and shall comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the fire department. The conditions of this permit DO NOT include any approval for High Piled Storage. Any future High Piled storage shall be in accordance with IFC chapter 23; and permitted by the Boise Fire Department. *CDM/SJA*
