This fire alarm permit is to provide a new manual fire alarm system to include full notification, a pull station, remote annunciator, elevator recall functions, HVAC shutdown/monitoring, and sprinkler system monitoring.
Associated building permit: BLD10-01256 (Ada County Paramedics T.I.) Remodel an existing 15,791sq. ft., 2 story office building proposed for use as Ada County Paramedic office and training facility. Building to be fully sprinklered with a fire alarm system as part of remodel. Sprinkler system is used for allowable area increase and added story for compliance of "A3" occupancy in 2 story building. Addition of 555 sq. ft. 2 story enclosed stair /vestibule / entry and new interior elevator and elevator equipment room. Work includes select demolition at exterior and throughout interior of both floors. Construct new alls to create offices, training rooms, reception, common use and support areas; interior finishes, millwork, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, sprinkler and alarm work, all per reviewed plans. Items tested today include the fire sprinkler interconnections, sync of a/v's, connection to the AES panel. Still need to do the elevator, duct detectors and end of line voltage verification, and map at the facp.
