The Fire Sprinkler Scope of work consists of adding, relocating and deleting sprinklers to accommodate new wall and ceiling configuration.


Building Department Scope:

(TRINITY HEALTH) The fire sprinkler system is used for building area increase. To create a 24,796 square foot office tenant space within an existing 33,000 square foot, 1 story building. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, modified suspended ceilings, interior doors with sidelights, interior doors, and finishes. In addition, a new 5 foot opening will be created in an existing interior wood shear wall. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department. A "vanilla finish" permit (BLD10-02988) for the adjacent tenant space is included on the same drawings. An interior nonstructural demolition permit (BLD10-02923) and a partial permit (BLD10-02987) have also been issued. **CJW**


Fire Sprinkler System Design/Spacing:

The existing system is 1½”x1½x1” compound grid with a 3” center rail.
