The Fire Sprinkler Scope of work consists of converting a portion of a wet system into a double interlock preaction system to protect a new server and ups rooms. The existing main will be broken in two and capped. A new main will be routed to the new fire riser room to supply the new double interlock preaction valve. All high temperature sprinklers will be changed to ordinary temperature quick response type. Additional, pendent sprinklers will be added below the new ceiling. The detection system is electrical.


Building Department Scope:

To remodel a 5,439 sq. ft. area (3 rooms) within an existing office / storage / shipping building, for current and future I.T. infrastructure growth. Work to include: demolition work per plans; install a new raised access floor system, a new ceiling system with relocated lighting, a new hydraulic lift for equipment and ADA access; construct interior UL listed walls, doors and associated hardware per plans; install a new suspended soffit and acoustical ceiling grid systems; frame new interior walls suspended from roof structure; install new exterior concrete pads w/ mechanical units and exhaust systems that will serve the I.T. room; construct new exterior concrete stairs with metal handrails and guards; provide new exterior fascia and wall panel finishes; interior finishes in compliance with chapter 8 of the 2009 IBC; modify the existing fire alarm/sprinkler system to meet tenants needs and be in compliance with current adopted codes. Work per the approved plans, Engineering, and all other reviewing agencies approvals. NOTE: This building is fully sprinklered with 60 foot yards all around for unlimited area based on current occupancy use.
