The Fire Sprinkler Scope of work consists of adding and relocating sprinklers in three areas. The existing system has telescoping branch piping and various main sizes. The sprinklers will be standard response since all areas are ordinary hazard.


Building Department Scope:

Remodel of an existing 8,000 sq. ft. floor area located in the SW quadrant of HP Building #7 for relocation of equipment testing facilities and testing chambers from other buildings in HP Complex and an addition of 288 sq. ft. extension of Package Test Lab 104. Work includes select demolition; concrete foundations for new addition, vibration equipment pit and lifting crane in PTL 104; new mechanical mezzanine and support structure; exterior exit door, landing, stairs and railings; relocated doors and new walls to create Life Test #1, Life Test #2 and NN Room; suspended ceiling grid system in remodeled areas; lighting fixtures, controls, interior finishes; modification of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire sprinkler and alarm systems. drs
