9-27-11 PLAN MODIFICATION (no initiating devices affected): This plan modification is to upgrade the 4th floor notification devices to achieve Temporal Code, as per the requirements during the time of initial system install.
7-1-11: This fire alarm permit is to provide notification to accommodate a new break room and tie it in to the existing fire alarm system.
Associated building permit: BLD04-02149 (PUBLIC WORKS ADMIN) (Building #1, 4th Floor) A "Letter of Compliance" is required. The building is fully sprinklered. To perform selective demolition per plan to enlarge 119 sq. ft. existing room. To construct 16' - 5" of new wall with access door to create a 128 sq. ft. private work room; cabinetry and shelving being relocated to the new room; and electrical for tenant needs and minimum code. Provide plan modifications showing the notification devices located on the correct circuits and the corrected candellas. Provide correct data sheets for the devices actually installed. The audible notification devices utilized a solid tone, not temporal. Research indicated that the fire alarm system was updated after the requirement for the temporal sound. Documentation needs to be provided indicating otherwise or the audible sound needs to be modified.
