The Fire Sprinkler Scope of work consists of adding five attic sprinklers above a new drive through. The space below the drive through is non-combustible. The new attic sprinklers are supplied from a 2” main. The new 2” branch line will be connected to an existing 2½” main. The original system was apparently installed in 1997.


Building Department Scope:

Summit Church - New Covered Entry and Outdoor Plaza - To construct a new 450 square foot, one story, wood framed entry roof cover at the east side of the existing lobby. To install two new 60x610 glass entry doors at the east exterior wall of the lobby. To construct a new 475 square foot, elevated outdoor plaza and stairs. To install a new 60x610 exterior egress door from the south exit stair enclosure and to install approximately 48 lineal feet of new 5 foot wide concrete sidewalk from the new egress door to the existing sidewalk. The new covered entry is an addition to the sprinklered portion of this church building and will be fire sprinkled. All construction per the approved plans and attached comment list. JCM
