This quick permit is for an emergency replacement of an existing fire alarm panel that stopped functioning. For this case only, a quick permit is being allowed in leu of a regular permit. The existing FACP is no longer available to replace, however per the manufacturer, the submitted FACP is a direct replacement, and is being treated as "like-for-like". Due to the panel replacement, devices are to be tested at %100, however the notification does not need to be brought up to current code. Notification devices are to be inspected to ensure they meet the code they were installed under (1997 UFC). There are no written review comments. There is no associated building permit.
