10-20-11 PLAN MODIFICATION (no initiating devices affected): This plan modification is to consolidate the two existing fire alarm panels into one. The addressable panel as the remaining panel and the conventional panel is being removed. An addressable module is being provided so the system can monitor an existing conventional device. In addition, an AES RF radio with an IntelliTap is being provided to replace the existing DACT.

10-4-11:This fire alarm permit is to remove three fire suppression control panels and associated equipment for the existing clean agent suppression systems. The existing dry preaction system devices are also being removed. The master panel used for the sprinkler system monitoring and the slave panel used for the manual fire alarm system are to remain. There is no associated building permit.
Fire Alarm System background: There was originally an existing sprinkler monitoring only panel (Notifier SFP-10UD) that provided zones for a water flow switch, a pull station, and a tamper switch. Then, under FIR00-00468, an additional “slave” panel was provided to accommodate a manual fire alarm system with full notification, as well as connections to monitor alarm, trouble, and supervisory signals for suppression panels used to release two FM200 systems and a dry preaction system. This configuration and installation was approved under the 1997 UFC.
