The Fire Sprinkler Scope of work consists of addition to an existing building. In addition, a portion of the roof will be raised. A new backflow preventer is being added. The system utilizes ELO sprinklers. The new portion and the portion with the raise roof is a compound grid. The existing portion is a standard grid. Both grids are interconnected as one system. The existing underground is 8” The riser and new backflow preventer is 8”. The branch piping is 2” and the mains are 6”, 5” and 4”. The system is based on extra hazard group II. The building is premanufacture of Z purlin construction.


Building Department Scope:

Nashua Manufacturing Building Addition - To construct a new 9,160 square foot, one, story manufacturing building addition at the northeast corner of an existing 26,265 square foot manufacturing building. The building addition and existing building are pre-engineered metal buildings. This permit also includes related site improvements. This building is fully fire sprinkled. The sprinklers are used for area increase. All construction per the approved plans and attached comment list. JCM
