The Fire Sprinkler Scope of work consists of providing a 6 nozzle deluge water curtain to protect opening in a 3 hour wall. The design is somewhat based on FM data sheet 1-23. The detection is from cross-zoned smoke and heat detector. There are two systems. The other side of the wall is in a different permit. The system will actuate on the opposite of the wall of where the detectors have initiated. The design has been reviewed by both the Fire Marshal and Building Official.


Building Department Scope:

Micron Buildings 24D & 24E - (C15141) - Remodel For Clean and Dirty Links - To convert approximately 1,900 sq. ft. of clean link, dirty corridor, and dock space in Building 24D into a clean link to future Building 50. Install new cleanroom ceiling grid with HEPAS to prepare for installation of AMHS extension to Building 50. Remodel approximately 1,200 sq. ft. of Lab space in Building 24E to accommodate a new dirty corridor to Building 50. Install new catwalks in the interstial spaces of Buildings 24D & 24E to accommodate facility routing in the area. This work is being done on the first floor of Buildings 24D & 24E between grid lines A&F and 30&33. This permit also includes related electrical and mechanical work. All construction per the approved plans. JCM
