The Fire Sprinkler Scope of work consists of residential NFPA 13D system for a new home. The underground is polypipe installed by the fire protection contractor. The exposed riser and main in the garage is steel pipe. The remainder of the fire protection piping is CPVC. The piping is to be installed in the attic space and then tented to prevent freezing. An 1½” double check backflow preventer will be installed in the garage.

***FIRE SPRINKLERS REQUIRED*** This permit is for the construction of a new 3480s.f. 2-story single family dwelling with 2703s.f. on the main level and 777s.f. on the upper level that extends over the 937s.f. 3-car garage. Separate electrical, plumbing, mechanical and ESC permits are required. R-1C ok per David Moser. Rough in was ok. Plastic, was spread over the piping but there was no insulation. One bathroom had changed. There will be a pocket door that separates the area. In essecence, the are will become to small bathrooms which do not require sprinklers.

The underground supply line is not buried deep enough, has been installed as 1 1/2" without the 2" starter and is not a continous run to the riser as shown on the plans.
