The Fire Sprinkler Scope of work consists of providing new fire protection for the southeast portion of the first floor. The SE portion of the first floor up to column line 2 will have quick response sprinklers. The existing area west of column 2 has standard response sprinklers. The system is supplied by an existing 250 Gpm @ 75 Psi fire pump located in the basement. The existing 4” main in the basement supplies the first floor system by a riser near the elevator. The new piping has 2” main and 1” branch lines. The system is tree type. A new floor control valve is to be provided.


Building Department Scope:

(BOISE CITY HALL)(PHASE 1) Seismic structural upgrades and tenant improvements to all 4 floors & basement of City Hall Building 1 in the City Hall Building complex per approved plans. Total area of four stories is approximately 179,881 sq. ft. with a 63,312 sq. ft. basement used as a parking garage and mechanical equipment & maintenance office area. Work to include select interior demolition; preparation for and installation of seismic ties, connectors, concrete footings, concrete walls, steel beams, steel columns, steel & concrete structural elements at floor infill of atrium at 2nd and 3rd floors, adding additional usable floor area; providing fire-resistive assemblies or applications of listed products to maintain the required fire-resistive construction for Type I-B Construction; opening up the first floor lobby and remodeling of the clerk's office area and service counter; new interior walls to create new conference rooms, future tenant areas and work areas with relocated or new millwork work stations; new interior finishes or repair in areas of remodel; new roof assembly to include foam plastic roof insulation and single ply TPO roof membrane as per specs; upgrade and or relocation of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire suppression and alarm systems.NOTE: This building complex is fully sprinklered.
