As-built drawings will be required at the time of final inspection. Approval is subject to field measurement of the EOL voltage drop. The voltage drop calculations are based on a 10% drop, therefore the minimum acceptable voltage is 21.6V with the AC power off. Any measurement below this voltage will be considered insufficient to run the NACs at the end of useful battery life of 20.4V (per UL 864, Standard for Control Units for Fire Signaling Systems). See NFPA 72 2010 Handbook 18.3.2.3 for further assistance with calculations. The installing contractor shall have available at final inspection a voltage meter and measure end of line voltages; witnessed by the field inspector. There are no written review comments. There is no associated building permit.

One of the two strobes needed the candella increased to meet code while I waited. When the manual pull station was activated the horn strobes did not activate. Inspection failed. Also need updated as-builts showing the relocated strobe and the one with the increased candella.
