The sprinkler piping on the first and second floors of this building can be covered. The third floor can not be covered due to piping and tenting issues. Potential problems exist on the first and second floors due to soffits. Contractor and I discussed the need for sprinkler spacing to meet NFPA 13R figure 6.4.6.3.4.3.

The first and second floor rough-in passed. There are some concerns that fixtures and possible soffits will be too close the the pendant heads. The third floor piping has alot of extra 90's in the piping including in the remote area. The pipe sizing does not match the plans either. I also noted that the tenting is not adequate in several areas. First and second floor piping only can be covered. Third floor piping needs to be resubmitted for review.
