Description
The fire sprinkler scope of work consists of three level building protect with NFPA 13 sprinkler systems. The basement level is mainly parking with a recreation room and an ADA apartment. The first and second levels are apartments. The basement level is protected with a dry system except for the ADA unit and recreation room. The upper levels are protected with a wet system including floor control valves. Extended coverage sprinklers are being utilized. A new 6”x25’ C-900 underground pipe will be brought into an outside riser room. The riser room will have a 3” backflow preventer with a 3” riser, 3” dry pipe valve and 2” wet riser manifold. The basement level will have steel piping the other levels will have CPVC piping.

Contractor’s Note:
The building permit has not been issued at this time. The building department may determine that changes are required to the building plans in order to meet code. The changes may affect the sprinkler system. The sprinkler contractor will be obligated to make all necessary changes that may be required. Therefore, if the sprinkler contractor chooses to proceed without an issued building permit, they will do so on their own cognizance. This note does not constitute an early start agreement.
