Inspection consisted of checking interface between clean agent system panel to main fire alarm panel, clean agent panel reported to main fire alarm panel with correct addressing. Verified low air alarm, verified solenoid activation for pre-action valve trip, verified tamper valves on west pre-action as well as wet system tamper valves on west side fire sprinkler systems. Water flow pressure switch for pre-action system did not report as a water flow, reported to panel as a supervisory, water flow on pre-action needs to report as (latching) general fire alarm. Inspected east side pre-action system, verified low air alarm, verified water flow pressure switch for east pre-action with alarm test line, could not get pre-action solenoid to activate, had low air alarm as well as three smoke detectors (photo smokes in server room) in alarm with no solenoid activation. Exterior fire bell did not activate with water flow on pre-action systems, exterior bells with associated systems must ring with water flow. Contractor will reschedule inspection when items are repaired.

Need revised as-builts showing the 110 cd strobes and the deluge system solenoids, the west deluge system flow/pressure switch is reporting as a PIV supervisory and the Low Air pressure switch did not report at all. Waiting on the solenoid switch for the east deluge system as well.

See the city approved plans for locations where strobes need to be relocated due to being overspaced and mounted outside of their listing. Additional devices will be required in acouple of locations. No testing of the a/v devices took place.

Next phase is not ready for a final yet. I found overspaced audio/visual devices and in one location a device that is not wired up yet. Will be rescheduled.

Myself, the alarm contractor and the electrician discussed the overspace ceiling mounted a/v' in the main corridor and womens restroom. Also the manual pull station in the mechanical room is mounted too high. Ceiling tile will need to be installed at the facp for the containment of smoke.

I spoke with both the general contractor and the electrician about contacting the fire dept for approval for phasing the project and partial occupancy.
