Description
The fire sprinkler scope of work consists of protecting a 2 level, 3 unit apartment building with a NFPA 13R system. A new 2”x60’± CPVC will be installed into and external riser room. There will be two 1½” risers supplied by a 2” backflow preventer. There is a remote 1½” FDC on the street side of the building. The concealed piping is 1¼” and 1” CPVC

(2290, 2292, & 2294 S Gekeler Ln) To construct a new 7,242 sq. ft., two story, three unit, apartment building. Each unit has separate entries, attached garages, and two stories. Unit #12 has a total of 1,878 square feet (1,277 square feet on the 1st story / 601 square feet on the 2nd story / 423 square feet garage). Unit #13 has a total of 2,144 square feet (1,107 square feet on the 1st story / 1,037 square feet on the 2nd story / 423 square feet garage). Unit #14 has a total of 1,832 square feet (890 square feet on the 1st story / 942 square feet on the 2nd story / 440 square feet garage). Each unit has 3 bedrooms and three bathrooms. All construction per the approved plans, attached plan review report, and all other reviewing agencies approvals. One hour vertical fire-partitions are required between dwelling units. This building is required to be fire sprinklered; as regulated by the fire department. Separate fire protection permits are required.
