The fire sprinkler scope of work consists of protecting a new warehouse including a small mezzanine. There will be no fabrication. The 6” underground supplies a 4” backflow preventer , 4” riser, 4” main and 1 ½” branch lines. The system layout is a tree type configuration and utilizes extended coverage 20’x20’ sprinklers.

Quality Door and Millwork - To construct a new 15,585 square foot one story with 860 square foot storage mezzanine pre-engineered metal retail and warehouse building and related site improvements. The mezzanine is wood framed construction. This building is fully fire sprinkled. The sprinklers are used for area increase and requirements of IBC, Section 903.2.9. The owner's agent has declared that this building will be used as a warehouse only and the mezzanine will be used as a storage area only. There will be no wood fabrication done at this facility; see the attached response letter from ALC Architects. All construction per the approved plans and attached comment list. JCM

Tyco heads have been installed instead of the submitted Viking, provide one additional brace at the end of the 4" main and provide letter from manufacturer to support the installation of the hangers from the bottom of the z purlins.

Left voice message that I would be there in 20 or 30 minutes. Arrived at job site and nobody was there. I did speak to Scott about needing to perform a rough-in inspection for the overhead system, branchline restraints and needing manufactures ok to hang piping from the bottom of the z-purlins as previously requested

Mezzanine piping is ok to cover.. I noted that light fixtures may block pendant heads based on flex/wiring locations next to pendants.

Todays inspection was only for the mezzanine/office area. Resubmit plans showing the pipe routing changes to the office/mezzanine area, the use of cpvc piping and flat face bushings. No piping to be covered at this time. Also noted sprinkler main piping hangers utilizing the bottom chord of the z purlins which will need approval.
