The fire sprinkler scope of work consists of adding, plugging and relocating sprinklers to accommodate new wall and ceiling configuration.

Fire sprinklers used for story, height, and area increase. To remodel the 2nd story meeting rooms and to construct a bridal room and storage room on the 2nd story. The total remodel area is about 6,643 square feet. Shell and core work was done under permit BLD13-00938. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, new gypsum board on existing wall studs, new wall cavity insulation, new wall furring and insulation, suspended gypsum board ceilings, suspended acoustical ceilings, new folding partitions, and finishes. Special Inspection is required for the installation of the threaded Nelson Studs that will support the new folding partitions. The fire-resistance of the concrete encased beams is required to be maintained or restored. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and will all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system shall comply with NFPA 13 and the fire alarm system is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department. **CJW**
