Description |
The fire sprinkler scope of work consists of adding, plugging and relocating sprinklers to accommodate new wall and ceiling configuration.
There is new racking being installed in this facility under permit BLD14-02885. This FIR permit does not include any information is regards to the new racking and is therefore not being review or approved for the new racking.
(WINCO GROCERY STORE REMODEL) The fire sprinkler system is used for unlimited area of the building. To remodel a 7,542 square area located within an existing 89,290 square foot grocery store. The remodel area is located at the front of the store. This is a scope of work permit. This whole building tenant already has a Certificate of Occupancy. Work includes interior nonbearing walls, new plastic skylights with prefabricated metal curbs, walk-in coolers, a pizza oven, a Type I hood, a grease duct with duct wrap, interior finishes, suspended acoustical ceilings, and exterior paint. The customer service area and miscellaneous equipment will be relocated and a new pre-fabricated customer service counter will be installed. A new pizza preparation and sales area will be created. A new fresh beer (growler) sales and storage area will also be created. A new eating area with a stand-up counter and a counter accessible to the disabled will be provided next to the growler sales area. A total of 15 new check-out stands will be installed with at least 3 being accessible to the disabled. A new “high” and a new “low” drinking fountain will be installed. Some of the concrete floor will be saw cut and removed to accommodate new under slab plumbing. Saw cut areas will be patched back with concrete. Special inspection is required for welding new steel channels to the roof deck. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13, including fire sprinklering the coolers, as regulated by the Fire Department. Throughout the project
