[Norco Warehouse Expansion]
The fire sprinkler scope of work consists of installing a new wet pipe system throughout the new warehouse expansion and canopy addition per NFPA 13 for ordinary hazard group II and high piled storage. Work will begin at new 6" connection to existing 6" riser and extend into the new warehouse. The new warehouse will be protected with ESFR type sprinklers. The dry system in the canopy will be fed from the existing dry canopy system.

To construct an 11,650 square foot, two story warehouse addition. 1st Floor: 8,750 sq. ft., 2nd Floor: 2,900 sq. ft.. This permit also includes the construction of a 1,315 square foot concrete dock, with metal roof cover that will connect two existing covered dock areas. The new dock cover and new warehouse addition will be separated by a two-hour fire wall separating the two buildings. There is an existing two-hour fire wall at the covered dock that will be relocated to line up with the new two-hour fire wall. This permit also includes related site improvements. The new warehouse will be constructed of a pre-engineered metal building (Behlen) with masonry exterior walls. All construction per the approved plans. JCM

Overhead rough-in for the wet and dry systems passed. A plan modification is needed for the below mezzanine piping due to additional fittings on the main and an additional branchline. Overhead hydro tests passed on both the wet and dry systems. 24 hour air test started on the dry system with 47 psi on the guage at 3:00 pm.
