The fire sprinkler scope of work consists of provide protection for a brewer with tasting room. There is a wet grid and a dry system. Some of the system is existing.
*** Field Inspector *** This project is a change of use. Therefore, the entire system has to be brought up to current code requirements. This would also include seismic restraints.
(PAYETTE BREWERY) Change of use from an existing health club with office to a production brewery - office and tasting room. Work will include: loading docks, new rollup doors, metal awnings, a parapet over the east side, cooler rooms, boiler room, new restrooms, new patio, new office layout and brewery equipment.
Demo work will include cutting existing tilt-up concrete walls and mezzanine area. This building is fully Fire Sprinklered with an approved Fire Alarm system. Any alterations or modifications to the buildings Fire Sprinkler or Fire Alarm system WILL REQUIRE A SEPARATE PERMIT and shall be installed per NFPA 13 & NFPA 72 as regulated by the Boise Fire Department. **ajs**
