The fire sprinkler scope of work consists of adding, plugging and relocating sprinklers to accommodate new wall and ceiling configuration. The existing hydraulic calculations appear to be adequate for the new use. The new flow test information is better than the original flow test.

This is a project is a change of occupancy therefore; the entire fire protection project shall meet current code. (Ref: IFC: 102.3)

(SAGE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL – Phase II) This project is to convert the remainder of an existing covered mall building (Parkcenter Mall) into a new school. PLAN MODIFICATION - Plan mod to change a previously approved double door to a single 42 inch wide door due to structural constraints. 2-12-16 **TLW** The building is fire sprinklered for area increase. Under Phase I 30,0000 square feet of the Northern part of the building was built out (BLD14-00884). Under this phase the remaining 54,850 square feet will be built out with new classrooms, a library, cafeteria, and common area. Work is to include: [structural upgrades including: new wood sheer walls, new wood hold-downs, new drag sheer blocking and strapping, new wood headers, and concrete repairs], exterior site improvements, [construction of interior non-bearing walls to create 27 classrooms, 5 offices, 6 core restrooms, a staff room, two multipurpose assembly rooms, and a library], installation of new exterior windows, installation of a new roof on the entire structure, installation of accessible doors / hardware, installation of the second side of a two-hour wall assembly (first side completed in phase I), and interior finishes. NOTE: This permit fulfills the “Upgrade Agreement” on file for this building. When the building is finaled a request to nullify the existing “Upgrade Agreement” based on completion of this work should be submitted. This building is fully Fire Sprinklered with an approved Fire Alarm system. Any alterations or modifications to the buildings Fire Sprinkler or Fire Alarm system WILL REQUIRE A SEPARATE PERMIT and shall be installed per NFPA 13 & NFPA 72 as regulated by the Boise Fire Department. **TLW**
