The fire sprinkler scope of work consists of demoing wet fire sprinkler system from the east and west areas of phase II remodel, install new Dry system in the New West 38 Degree Cooler, install new wet ESFR system in the new east 50 degree cooler, reconnect the existing middle portion of the building to the new supply piping, and relocate sprinklers in existing area to accommodate new wall and ceiling lay out. The new system and renaming existing system is to be supplied by the new Electric fire pump installed during phase I construction.

OWNER’S NOTE: The fire protection system design criteria used for this project, has the following restrictions:
• Plastic pallets are NOT permitted in the west cooler.
• The height of storage is limited to 25’ in both coolers.

(HAYDEN BEVERAGE) Phase 2 of the Hayden Beverage Relocation project. This portion of the building has 35,660 sq. ft. on the grade level and 8,000 sq. ft. on the second story. Work to include the construction of two walk in beverage coolers with the associated cooling units, a classroom, and a wine tasting room per the approved plans. Phase 1 of the project is being done under BLD15-04239. This is a fully fire sprinklered building for unlimited area. Any alterations to the sprinkler system will require a separate permit and shall comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the fire department. No racking is approved under this permit.
