The fire sprinkler scope of work consists of NFPA 13R in a three level building. The systems utilize CPVC piping and residential sprinklers The piping crosses to the other side of the building in a heated chase located in the attic.

The underground piping was reviewed under permit FIR16-00104

Palisades Apartments - Building B - To construct a new 23,000 square foot, three story, wood framed, 24-unit multi-family apartment building and related site improvements. This building will have an NFPA 13R sprinkler system. All construction per the approved plans. JCM

1st floor north half piping is ok to cover. Tenting inspection failed. North half of the second floor can not be covered until the additional 90s and relocated heads in the remote area have been addressed with plan review. None of the third floor can be covered until the tenting inspection has passed. The insulation used for the tenting needs to be a minimum 38R.

The North half for the first and second floors rough-in passed and the piping can be covered. I also inspected the north half fo the third floor but it did not pass because no tenting had been performed and there are pipe routing changes and additional fittings and added heads that will need to be reviewed prior to a cover inspection being approved.
