Previously noted items have been repaired in regards to the pipe tenting, documentation had not been received for the foam type insulation at time of inspection, overhead fire sprinkler piping will be approved for cover, if documentation does not support compatability with CPVC then a necessary repair/replacement of piping will be required. Overhead fire sprinkler piping approved for cover at general contractors discretion.

I pointed out several locations where tenting needed modified which included in the Master Bedroom and a vertical piece of pipe on the second floor above the Master Bedroom. Also a letter is needed that states the spray on foam insulation is compatible with the cpvc piping. I noted that the spray on foam has been sprayed behind as well as on top fo the piping. The building contractor, Bob, stated that there is adequate insulation behind the piping and the foam on the interior side of the piping is not detrimental to heat transfer. Another cover inspection is needed with the above corrections prior to covering the piping.
